About Me
I am an Assistant Professor specializing in Information Systems at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University. My academic journey is rooted in both technical foundations (Computer Science and Engineering) and managerial strategy (Industrial Management), culminating in a PhD focused on Information Systems. This diverse background fuels my interdisciplinary approach to research.
My work delves into how the design of digital platforms, the flow of online information (particularly user-generated content), and the integration of Artificial Intelligence technologies shape human behavior and decision processes. I am driven to conduct rigorous empirical research that not only advances academic theory but also offers practical guidance for platform designers, businesses, and policymakers navigating the complexities of the digital economy.
Before my academic career, I gained valuable experience in the technology sector, holding roles at Tata Motors and Practo. These experiences provided me with firsthand knowledge of real-world IT challenges and opportunities, enriching my perspective on the practical implications of my research.
